Asoba is building Africa’s premier clean energy network. We are combatting the economically crippling blackouts and load shedding that are endemic to Sub Saharan Africa. **Our mission is to build a 1GW clean energy network across southern and west Africa by 2030 and mitigate 1 megaton of CO2 emissions.** We help enterprises, commercial farmers, property developers, and municipalities build microgrids with battery storage to ensure 24/7 power. Then we provide virtual power plants to optimize the scheduling and dispatch of power within the microgrid. We monetize through software licensing baked into Power Purchase Agreements and by managing sales of excess power to local retail markets. In our first 6 months we have signed 8 customers that account for over 62MW and $500k+ in ARR.
