Ashvattha Learning Communities prepares classroom-ready teachers for Tier II, III, rural India. We recruit young teachers with less than 5 years of classroom experience, train them on creating 21st century classrooms and place them in higher paying teaching jobs with continued support for professional development.

Our core training areas are subject expertise, classroom management, lesson delivery, technology and leadership. We believe that teachers can only create the learning experiences they have. Hence, we use in-person workshops, online courses, classroom observations, mentorship and communities of practice, to create a high-quality 21st century learning experience for our teachers. We also believe that teachers learn best when engaged in classroom practice. Hence, we place our teachers for internships in budget private schools during the preparation period. Ashvattha teachers then create learner centered, application oriented and technology enabled classrooms wherever they go.
