Artit is an art SaaS start-up based in London. With the mission to support undiscovered artists around the globe, Artit was created as a platform for visual artists to win awards, gain recognition and be part of a self-sustaining, empowered community. Today, Artit is a fast-growing art contest-hub and home to a global community of artists who make art to freely express what matters to them and their communities. As an organisation, we believe in the power of art to act as a catalyst for personal empowerment and social change. We see art also as a means to raise awareness around matters that impact our lives as individuals and as a collective. We empower the voices of artists and organisations that strive for a bright future for the world, particularly those that address issues of ecology, society and politics through art. In this context, a significant part of our work are our collaborative grant-based projects exploring the intersection of arts and society in practice.
