We are going to revolutionize the archaic Translation & Interpretation (T&I) Industry. The industry is currently led by the thousands of agencies throughout the world who pay the professional interpreters they subcontract and shroud in their secret database a mere fraction of what is paid by the customer. Furthermore, these pennies paid out by agencies tend to take 30 to 60 days (sometimes more) to reach the pockets of the professional interpreters who earned them. Interpreters then not only have to budget themselves very well but are also at the whim of the agency and when they decide to actually pay. From an economic perspective, the overhead charged by agencies to the customer creates a tremendous deadweight loss that is damaging to the economy. Arrbol's answer is to streamline the contracting process by allowing the customer to locate and hire an interpreter directly. Not only will the interpreter be allowed to set and charge his/her own rates, but the customer will ultimately be paying less. In addition, the customer will be able to locate and hire the interpreter of his/her choice and based on the criteria required for a particular assignment.
