Every year, trillions of dollars in multi-million dollar and multi-billion dollar international commercial disputes are resolved through international arbitration.

A primary reason most parties choose arbitration over national courts is that they get to pick the 3 arbitrators who sit on the tribunal that decides the case.

Selecting the right international arbitrators is the single most important strategic decision in these high-stakes cases. The most essential information about arbitrators' track records, however, is generally unavailable because past arbitrations are confidential.

Arbitrator Intelligence has developed a unique, online platform to collect crucial information about past cases, while maintaining confidentiality. We then produce quantifiable and contextualized data analytics on international arbitrators' track records, based on this unique data.

We started as a university research project, then became a non-profit (some have even called us a "movement") committed to transparency, accountability, and diversity in arbitrator selection.

We incorporated on July 29, 2019 and have already received numerous accolades and prizes, including winning 2nd Place in the Penn State Tech Tournament ($50K), being named among the top 50 legal tech innovations of 2020 by the National Law Journal, and as part of the top 3 trends in 2020 for international arbitration by Law360.

Arbitrator Intelligence aims to transform not only how parties and counsel ACTUALLY select international arbitrators, but also how they THINK about selecting international arbitrators.
