Working with Appy will challenge you to be both a developer and a communicator of ideas. We strive to make UX design as simple and refined as it can possibly be, while stopping at nothing to provide the most fun, elegant and animated interactions that can be built using HTML 5. We've graduated from ER Accelerator, closed 1 venture round, are growing revenues substantially MOM and were finalists in the Amazon Startup Challenge. We are early adopters of new technology, including things such as face recognition, intelligent name matching, dynamic image thumbnailer, WebSockets, live rendered app previews in the web using a custom implementation of webkit – to name just a few. On top of the app builder is a social platform supporting live chat, managed outbound email communications, push messaging, a facebook-style news feed, photo sharing and much more! We have a theme engine supporting over 300 unique designs currently being upgraded to Rails 4.0. Our themes use SASS to give us complete control over how the theme scales on any mobile screen size or aspect ratio. Recruiting for both front and back-end developer roles with some or all of the following experience: HTML5 / CSS, JQuery, jQuery-ui and jQuery-mobile, RoR, Python, Django, PHP / Drupal, MySQL, AWS, IOS and Android Developmnt.
