Say STEAM that allows you to rent software by the hour, day, or month on your own computer (all the process are local). We just monitor the time you have used an APP and charge your account.

User advantages are: price(no need to buy a license), flexibility(any computer will do), safety (no personal files on the cloud).
For software producers we aim to recover a segment of user lost to piracy
