We are a bunch of well meaning people trying to fight Climate Change with Code - with the right mix of Experience and Youth. The software for the Renewable Energy sector was legacy and archaic. Since the RE industry came suddenly and started high growth, a lot of existing solutions were picked up and then force-fitted - Large legacy OEMs offered their existing Power Plant SCADA software to Renewables. Unlike Coal or Nuclear where each plant is a large installation, with large highly skilled teams available for Monitoring or Analysis - here we had young technicians who weren't aware of how to get the best out of the Assets. This potential of simplifying lives, reducing risk, adding more power generation (~7%) to the World with the same Assets, and creating pure value for the end customer inspired us to solve this problem and start-up. The name Apollo is inspired by the first space program which took humans to the moon, we are bringing rocket tech to RE!
