AndrosRobotics careers
We began by developing a robotic system for physical therapy, the R-LAD. This device will help administer intensive gait therapy to neurological (e.g. stroke) patients in the clinical setting. Physical interaction between human and machine is best (and safely) accomplished with force-controlled actuators, yet no company is offering such a component at an affordable price. So we developed our own actuator. The CFCM Actuator is a completely unique offering on the market, which fills a very important 'gap' in the automation industry's offering.
AndrosRobotics is now developing a light-weight & long-reach collaborative robotic arm for the e-commerce warehouse automation industry. Powered by our economical, force-controlled CFCM Actuators (available separately), our robotic arm can be lighter, with a longer reach than any competing low-cost robotic arm, because we can leverage force-feedback to achieve high positioning accuracy despite the structure's flexibility. And it's safe.
