AOF is a vertically integrated producer of a 97% fat-free, environmentally sustainable red meat that looks, feels, and tastes just like a high-end beef filet mignon. We are transforming ostrich production from a cottage industry of fragmented, inefficient farms to a national network of Affiliates disrupting the $400 billion US animal protein market in ways not seen since the advent of modern chicken production in the 1950s.

Ostrich is uniquely positioned to benefit from the broad, secular shift to healthier, more sustainably raised animal proteins. Pound for pound, ostriches produce far more meat per acre than any other red meat, require a third of the water, contribute only a fraction of the greenhouse gases as cattle or bison, and can be inexpensively and efficiently farmed while putting the welfare of the animals first. And due to its premium red meat status and superior feed conversion ratio, the profitability of ostrich is many times greater than any other animal protein.
