Almaworks careers
Almaworks is Columbia University's startup accelerator for NYC student entrepreneurs. We take no equity, IP, or fees and aim to help startups run by NYC student entrepreneurs achieve significant, sustainable growth.
With more than 20 mentors for each cohort of 10 startups, Almaworks provides one-on-one access to experts in the fields of startup growth, business development, finance, funding, and legal.
Since Almaworks was built by students for students, we offer unprecedented access to the Columbia community. This includes on-campus space reservations, student product testers, startup expos, resume drops, and campus media that collectively reaches more than 13,000 subscribers and followers.
Once a startup goes through the Almaworks program, it pitches at the Almaworks demo day as well as the Intercollegiate Pitch Off, a combined demo day featuring student startups from Columbia, Harvard, Penn and Princeton, to top investors from across the nation.
