At Almabase, we are trying to re-define what community management means in today's age by utilizing modern web tech and building infrastructure (databases, communication systems, notification systems, reporting, permissions etc.) that is purpose-built for community management.

"Communities" - a globally accepted approach to bring people together over a shared interest or goal. But, communities are only as successful as the people within it and the people that manage it. For businesses and non-profits that thrive on their communities like alumni organisations, non-profits and religious organisations – engaging their communities is critical to their success and sustenance.

Communities can be managed using a wide array of tools like spreadsheets, bulk mailers, WhatsApp and Facebook groups. While all those tools are great at what they do individually, they are not purpose-built for community management and don't work well with each other.

That's what we aim to change.
