Algopolis.Ai is an AI-driven quantitative investment management company trading on the U.S. stock market. We aim to outperform the broad U.S. stock market on a risk-adjusted basis. We use AI/ML for both investment decisions and portfolio management purposes. We strongly believe that active asset management will drift towards substantial automation of the investment decision making process due to increasing complexity of financial markets, fuelled by advancements in computing power and the volume of available data. We are convinced that the application of AI/ML in investment selection process for the asset management sector is equivalent to inventing a steam engine in the industrial revolution. We initially focus on the U.S. equities due to their high liquidity, trading cost effectiveness and to be able to benchmark our solution against top performing equities hedge funds. • Our trading strategies could be easily applied in new stock markets (European and Asian) and to new instruments (bonds, derivatives). • Our trading platform is designed to continuously and efficiently incorporate new forecasting methods and strategies as they are discovered. That provides us with the capacity to switch strategies quickly when the old ones start suffering from diminishing predictive power and returns. • We are not chasing for returns resulting from speed of execution, we are focused on market inefficiencies, discovering non-linear dependencies, patterns recognition, factor investing and fundamental analysis. Our investment horizon spans from hours to months (depending on strategy), we are never going to chase milliseconds – high frequency trading is not our style.
