AlgiSys is a biotechnology company that produces high-value omega-3 fatty acid nutrition ingredients from microalgae. AlgiSys is currently developing proprietary microalgae strains to be used with proven biotech production methods and intellectual property for one important fatty acid, EicosaPentaenoic Acid ("EPA). EPA is a long-chain omega-3 fatty acid, or "good fat", that has clinically proven cardiovascular system and joint health benefits.
