In England there are over 30 million unused car seats everyday .This leads to high level of traffic on our roads and our cities which creates unwanted CO2 emissions and public transport overcrowding. This is where Alfred comes in !! Alfred is a mobile app that facilitates its users to share and join rides at the tap of a button. Alfred is an IOS and Android app which has been developed with the sole purpose of facilitating ride sharing, with algorithms which automatically match you with suitable and relevant rides.
Alfred is a unique concept within the UK , as it will be the first app to allow urban ridesharing on demand. It has adopted an Uber style interface with people able to see live and active rides on Google map all around them and filter the relevant rides towards their destination. Alfred’s users can instantly join rides with drivers already heading in the same direction.
