As we develop cutting edge tech, we look for engineers that can wear multiple hats and pick up new technologies quickly. We love talking to engineers and hackers who have backgrounds in the following: Application Development: Developed APIs and data visualizations (we use D3), while maintaining high scalability and reliability; also worked with a fullstack framework including Ruby (Rails), Javascript, and MySQL. Infrastructure: Scaled infrastructure solutions using caching, queuing, automated deployment, and parallel processing. Data Mining / Machine Learning: Managed highly messy and unstructured datasets; solved complex data mining and/or information retrieval problems, using MapReduce (e.g. Hadoop), and graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) to deliver recommendations, correlations, and predictive analytics Security: Designed and implemented a security infrastructure, with tools that ensure the highest standards for security and compliance. Monitoring / Reliability: Designed and implemented tools to monitor system and application level trends. Worked on site reliability through solid design, performance tuning and capacity planning. Distributed Systems: Built distributed systems to manage data at scale, with billions of objects and petabytes in storage.
