What is NDC?
NDC (New Distribution Capability ) is an initiative by the global airline association IATA to bring airline distribution technology up to date and deliver an environment to stimulate airline profitability.
NDC will enhance level of communication between airlines and travel agents, where Airlines will be able to showcase all the rich content and sell onboard services like Wi-Fi, food, legroom , entertainment along with other services like lounge , porter, taxi, hotel on travel agent portal itself.
NDC will enable travel industry to restructure and better strategise how air products are retailed to corporations, leisure and business travellers.
