AcuraStem is advancing a novel therapeutic approach for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) using patient-derived stem cell models. AcuraStem is working to identify new targets and therapeutic approaches employing patient neuronal models in order to find a treatment for ALS. AcuraStem has developed the iNeuroRx platform which utilizes human iPSC derived cells in order to mimic neuromuscular, and neurodegenerative neuron diseases such as ALS.
