Culture and benefits at Accops

Culture overview

We are around 95 people now and just 7 years young. Our products were launched in 2015 and so we have a very dynamic environment. Our products are used by 500 customers so even though we have a level of maturity and acceptance in the field, we keep on developing new modules every year. Everyone in engineering is hands on, there are no pure managers, except the CTO. There is no hierarchy as such and complete flexibility for every individual. Every decision is taken based on following priority order: Customer, People, Money. All our products require system programming and we still code a lot in C++ and C. We are now moving to .NET core from .NET and to angular from .NET MVC. All new modules are dockerized and cloud-ready product is the mantra. Quick turn around time, Latency, Security and Stability are the key factors that guide us in the design decisions. We hire people who want to build quality products and stay invested in the product for long time. We avoid people who just want to learn new technologies every 2 years. Products take time and patience to mature and new technology can not be adopted every now and then. Definitely product evolve and new design and technology comes in when the company has got the ROI from the earlier investments. When it comes to hiring, we follow the Hubspot model to define an ideal candidate: A candidate with a HEART H: Humble E: Empathetic A: Adaptive R: Remarkable T: Trustworthy We are also looking for people with compassionate directness, work ethics & integrity and curiosity.
