An early investor and board member of $1bn+ proptech company, Stay Alfred, invested in our most recent raise + joined our board and we have surrounded ourselves with a bevy of strategic advisors from the commercial real estate world. We launch Abstract's beta platform to an initial beta group of sponsors & investors in August. Founding team has been involved in over $2 billion of developments, acquisitions, dispositions and refinances, raised millions in traditional angel & VC capital, acquired & managed billion dollar organizations as customers and partners, built & scaled technology teams and worked for global financial institutions. Founders have spoken at & written for Harvard, Stanford, WSJ, Techcrunch, 6th Annual Global Family Office Investment Summit, Crypto Invest Summit, CREtech, Entrepreneur, The NY Times, Blockchain Seattle and Forbes. Advisors include the original President of Addepar, Senior Vice President of CBRE, the co-founding Managing Partner of Cephas Partners PE real estate firm who works primarily with Blackstone and now Kattera, Real Estate Strategist at Columbia Pacific Advisors, the Head of Corporate Development at Bittrex and an ex-Google, AWS executive and VC who has scaled startups from $0-to-$100mm+. We're developing a system of blockchain technologies (smart contracts, DLT) and digital security structuring platform that creates better primary issuance and secondary market financial infrastructure to unlock liquidity in institutional quality real estate, typically locked up 5-9 years. The first conversions of property ownership to digital securities has started to be done manually, the Aspen St. Regis was the first last Fall, and we are creating the platform that will automate the process.
