3AxisData LLC. is currently developing a new semiconductor user input technology branded ZetaSense™. This flexible semiconductor with all digital logic supports all types of sensors including multi-touch and digital writing pens. These new chipsets based on strong IP will satisfy the growing Asian education and consumer markets needing advanced writing support for the character languages.
ZetaSense Highlights:
• The ZetaSense chipset utilizes both the touch screen and independent pen electrostatic data to calculate pressure, tilt, and rotation at very high resolution and FPS.
• The ZetaSense chipsets work with major suppliers of MPUs, GPUs, and SOCs.
• 3AD products are estimated to carry a low cost and high ASP with margin targets >50%.
The ZetaSense chipset target customers are high volume product developers and global OEMs who will incorporate the controllers into systems such as consumer mobility devices and personal computers, automobiles, and various industrial applications.
