People at 3 Billion Pairs

After my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2018, I spent 2 years in search of meaning following my success at helping build Ethereum, the world's first decentralized computer at scale, into a 350 billion-dollar business. I just couldn't find 'that lightning in a bottle' to reproduce Ethereum staggering success and popularity. I was fortunate to meet David Tabizel in early 2021, the Chairman of the Board and visionary behind 3 Billion Pairs, who introduced me to the limitation of 'evidence-based medicine' and demonstrated the potential of genome-based treatments such as CRISPR CAS9. The collective disillusionment with national healthcare services following the pandemic combined with the dramatic fall in cost for 100% genome testing, made it evident to me this was the perfect time to develop a social platform backed by the latest AI/ML technology to democratize access to this revolution. It's high time end users be given full control over the information they often do not know even existed and be given access to the tools they need to better understand their health and ultimately - themselves as human beings. Rather than entrusting governments with this information, I strongly believe we should make use of technology including the blockchain to empower users and give them direct access to their complete 'digital avatar'. Being adopted, I do not have the luxury of being able to provide my medical antecedents during visits to the doctor, so in addition to my mother illness, which could have been slowed down had we been informed these technologies were readily accessible, this project is very close to my heart indeed. As CEO and backed by some of the smartest people I've met, I fully intend to see this project developed to completion until precision medicine becomes 'the new normal', executing a land grab in this upcoming 'genomic economy' while upholding our strict ethical values around diversity and universal rights of access.
