1855 Capital Partners careers

1855 Capital is a seed and early stage venture capital fund investing in companies with an affinity to Penn State University. We develop investment opportunities by actively engaging with current faculty/staff and students involved in world-class research efforts and the 600,000+ alumni network.

A target portfolio company has both a core technological competency not currently available in the marketplace and a business model/management team that is scalable. Sectors include information technology, advanced materials, healthcare/medical devices. The fund will actively leverage the business acumen and management talent of the Penn State Alumni network and the Funds’ limited partners.

While the Fund has strong ties to the Penn State community – local and global with offices adjacent to the University Park campus – 1855 Capital is a privately owned and operated company and is not directly affiliated with Penn State.
