Currently 100X is working on developing a patented strain gauge for bolts, by measuring the magnetic field of said bolt. The technology is currently being tested by some of the largest companies in mining, wind and industrial automation.
The prospect is large, because the combination of high accuracy, cost-effectiveness and non-destruction, makes a total structural integrity view of mines, wind turbines, critical infrastructure etc. possible.
