Food Scientist (R&D for plant-based meat)

About the job

• Act as Head Scientist in setting up and operating our plant-based meat lab in HK
• Responsible for developing recipes and formulas of plant-based meat products
• Invent and innovate novel plant-based meat components
• Work with production department on trialing of new products
• Support development of SOPs for production operations
• Work closely with industry experts
• Other duties as assigned by management

About the talent

• Bachelor degree in Food, Life Sciences, Engineering or other relevant disciplines. (Preferred but not mandatory)
• At least 2 years R&D experience in food industry is an advantage.
• Experience with international & China patents is an advantage
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description.
• Excellent team spirit, positive-thinking and goal-oriented spirit.
• Fluent Cantonese, Preferably good English and Mandarin.
