Ivido is dynamic telehealth startup, based in The Hague. We build the future of Dutch healthcare through the empowerment of people to have a better grip over their health and enabling the multidisciplinary collaboration of health professionals. We partner up with the biggest players of Dutch healthcare to deliver meaningful solutions to the market.

Our challenge

Ivido’s vision is to facilitate the transition of healthcare from reactive to preventive, moving away from the concept of “patient-driven” to “human-driven”, from Care to Lifestyles. To make this happen we are designing new generation health services that place people in front, given them full control over a medical file, providing tools for self-management, and quick and easy access to health professionals. We want to contribute to the better health of every person living in the Netherlands. On top of that, we have to navigate vastly different use-cases with different needs: the complex requirements of the workflow of professionals and an accessible and intuitive patient environment for lower literacy people. Of course, such a sensitive solution should be designed in line with high-security standards.

What will you do?

• You will work inside of a few multidisciplinary teams consisting of designers, developers, a Product Owner, and business development colleagues.
• You will closely interact with a small but growing design team to enrich Ivido with new innovative methodologies and mature the design at Ivido.
• You will collaborate with Development to test and ensure good quality throughout the range of our solutions.
• You will team up with other Designers, Customer Service, and Business Development to do your own research to establish empathy with our users and stakeholders.
• You will present results of research to Product Owner, Design Lead, and COO to help shape the roadmap with insights you gathered, tested, and validated.
• You will involve our stakeholders in our processes to ensure the delivery of meaningful solutions.
  

What you have

• Interaction design - You are able to translate chaotic and complicated interactions into simple user-centered solutions.
• Visual skills - You understand the importance of aesthetics on top of interaction and pay close attention to visual details.
• User research - You fell comfortable doing qualitative or quantitative research. For you, it’s important to start from a perspective of user

• Experimenter - You like experimenting and trying new digital design tools and methods.
• Collaboration - You involve your stakeholders early in the process. You are able to facilitate different stages of the design process, like design sprint, brainstorm with others.
• Ownership - You take initiative, and are not waiting for others to make things happen. You apply critical thinking and challenge decisions. You keep track of your own time, manage and prioritize your daily work.
• Design Systems - You have experience using or building a design system to keep consistency within design and front-end throughout the product teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
