What We Are Looking For:
The Risk Management Specialist will manage property security operations regarding guests, employees, and property assets. This role will be responsible for the overall safety and security of our Miami Wynwood property and will respond to emergencies.
At Domio You Will:
- Patrol all areas of the property and monitor the alarm and safety systems
- Respond to accidents and contact EMS or coordinate first aid as required
- Investigate and report safety concerns
- Assist guests and employees in emergency situations
- Diffuse guest and/or employee disturbances
- Complete incident reports, maintain organized records, and conduct periodic inspections
- Investigate security related incidents - interview involved parties and gather physical evidence
Who You Are:
- 1-3+ years of work experience as within risk management or security
- Experience with security within a hotel or retail work environment a plus
- Formal de-escalation training/certification a plus
- Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, responsive, and adaptive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Able to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
