Callbox is an ad-tech/martech company building innovative marketing solutions for the Finance, Insurance, Travel and other industries. We’ve always focused on delivering call leads, and we are working towards building a comprehensive customer acquisition platform.

Callbox is evolving, and becoming 'Customer Lab'. Customer Lab’s goal is to empower companies and platforms with high intent customers and automate their acquisition and scale efforts. Who are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who wants to be a CTO - but is up for the high-growth coder challenge. It's true, you will need to code daily - but as the team scales, you will embrace a more managerial role and step into a CTO position.

• Managing the company's technological plans.
• Maintaining the company's network and core platform
• Ownership of the tech roadmap and accountability for DevOps

Furthermore, a solid Ruby + React background to help shape our core application and some GoLang experience to help contribute to our new products. In this position, we value intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, and great programming abilities. The ideal candidate is eager to drive product forward, and be a part of a rebrand & rebuild process.

Requirements:

What specific abilities should the candidate have?

• Extensive experience in Ruby and its libraries.
• Strong proficiency working with RESTful web services
• Familiarity with GOLang - or comfortable learning it
• Deliver readable, well-structured OOP code written in Ruby while utilizing test-driven development practices.
• Ability to address business requirements with technical implementations.
• Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and assertive communication skills. Creative and pragmatic mind to develop innovative and unique solutions to complex problems.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with postgres, MongoDB, Redis, or other relevant, cutting-edge technologies.
• Familiarity performing basic tasks on cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, etc.
