Chatbot developer

This is a great time to get in on the ground floor of the EIVA team at LAUNCH! We are a fun startup that comes out of the University of Southern California. We are creative problem solvers that believe in using AI to make a better working world. Help pioneer AI for enterprise in a collaborative team environment. We have a product that is gathering interest during COVID-19 times so there is work to done, and we must work fast. EIVA is an exciting future technology in the making that you can be a part of. DUTIES:

• Design scalable conversational flow and rules of bots and Natural Language Processing (NLP) programming
• Test solution bots, incorporate user feedback, and document conversational rules
• Connect bots via APIs to enterprise platforms
• Perform function/feature feasibility analysis, design a plan for execution, and make architectural adjustment recommendations if needed
• Build out and refine our search algorithms
• Collaborate and provide guidance to other developers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have strong knowledge and experience building chatbots, preferably AWS chatbots with Elastic Search, Rasa, Redit, API Gateway, Aurora and S3. Elastic Search a plus. Okay to bring knowledge from simular platforms or outside tools as well.
• Must know node.js, python, javascript, react.js, angular
• Must have full stack experience, certification, or nearly there
• Data science and/or computer science background
• Good communication skills; Strong english; Provides frequent and timely updates
• Must be responsible, accountable and responsive
• Reliable and professional is a must
• Must be available 20-30 hours/week

Nice to haves:

• Know GraphQL
• Knowledgeable about Q&A systems
• HQ is in CA, US - PST timezone, but remote ok
