We are looking for a Technical Lead to join our award-winning, talented team, building global software products for automation of drones for various commercial applications.

A thorough understanding of all of the components of FlytBase platform and infrastructure is required. You will need to take ownership of your projects, which involves detailing requirements after discussion with the Product Owner, building user interfaces, developing and maintaining web apps with a focus on user experience.

Skills/Experience:

1. 2+ yr experience as a MEAN Stack developer.
2. Strong expertise with Angular2+, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Bootstrap, Socket.io,.
3. Knowledge of unit testing (Jasmine/Mocha), e2e testing frameworks (Selenium).
4. Experience in micro-services and micro-frontend architecture.
5. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a secured, scalable, production-ready application development and deployment.
6. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Understanding of Git, CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Work as part of an agile team developing applications, design sprints, and lead the team ensuring deliveries are met.
2. Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications.
3. Ensure code modularity with micro-services architecture in the frontend and backend.
4. Ensure best practices in Web application development.
5. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle and write code that is maintainable, clear, and concise.
6. Bring in technical and architectural leadership, and mentor team members enabling them to achieve their goals.
7. Ability to balance strategic and tactical solutions
8. Manage application deployment in AWS, considering security, scalability, and reliability
9. Manage/evolve automated testing setup for backend and frontend for faster bug reporting and fixing
10. Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
11. Learn about the domain and competitors to propose new features and help in product improvement.
