BI Analytics Specialist

Responsibilities:
• Provide key business stakeholders with visual, predictive and advanced analytics
• Drive process changes across the assigned division and use analytics to provide insight into business performance and operations
• Manage the use of analytic technologies and develop KPIs that will evaluate organizational success and business efficiency
• Answer business questions by identifying external and internal data sources
• Assist the Data Warehouse / BI Team in maintaining the organization's data quality and completeness
• Provide leadership and support to the team on the design of data visualization
• Educate and train business users on the capabilities of Tableau and Alteryx
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis on specific business challenges, while levering data

Requirements:
• BA/BS Degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Predictive Analytics, Business Analytics or the equivalent
• Experience building Tableau solutions from the ground up that are visually stunning, scalable, and efficient
• Expertise in developing, maintaining Tableau driven dashboards and analytics
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Tableau Administration/Architecture and components including Desktop, Server, and Cloud
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with MS Excel
• Solid experience with SQL
• Understanding of Python and R
• Hands-on experience gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups
• MUST have the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet changing deadlines
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; including the ability to communicate effectively with business, technical teams and stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
