Embedded Engineer with RF Experience

Josh is an AI for the home. Using voice and natural user inputs, Josh makes it easy to control your whole home's lighting, music, TV, shades, garage, locks, sprinklers, cameras, and more.

Josh.ai is seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer who has worked in RF with at least 3 years of experience. We are looking for someone who can adapt quickly and add value to our fast paced, growing business and also someone who can contribute collaboratively within our software development team. This is a contract position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Your job responsibility will be to analyze hardware WiFi performance and recommend HW and SW improvements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with backend engineering
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
- Suggest architecture improvements and recommend process improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
3 years professional experience in embedded design and development
Embedded Engineer with RF experience
WiFi/Bluetooth design and performance testing experience
Experience analyzing WiFi performance
Work experience with antenna design
RF design and signal analysis
HW Prototyping, board bring-up

PREFERRED SKILLS

Comfortable with frequent incremental code testing and deployment
Knowledge of an agile team environment, process, and tools (GIT, JIRA)
