The Role
Ever considered building an end-to-end, multicity holiday plan in 45 seconds designed to meet your needs? Or finding your flight without using a filter or sort. Or building a day-wise itinerary in 30 seconds. That's what we build at Pathfndr and use that to help travel businesses across the globe satisfy their client expectations better and faster.
We have built a vast and varied recommendation engine for destinations, flights, hotels, activities. Solutions that are either one-of-a-kind in the world or the best-in-class in the world. And we continue to add to it!
We power large travel companies with licensed solutions (and customizations), provide a Shopify (and Wix) type platform for Travel Agencies, Travel Influencers and more to create their online monetization platforms and run a truly digital or at least a hybrid service model.
This is your opportunity to join a fast-paced startup environment and change the way travel is sold and consumed in the world! We hire those who are driven, solutions-focused, and passionate about their work. Our colleagues never fill a single role and always rise to new challenges with excitement and curiosity.
The ideal technologist also would understand the true meaning of Agile (hint: it's a mindset, not a process) to get things done in a high-growth, fast-iterating product.
Responsibilities:
- Build features and maintain existing code that is in Angular 12 with apps launched using the Ionic framework.
- Ensuring code design and implementation is done for speed and scalability.
- Be able to make quick and technically sound decisions around plug-ins vs custom-build based on product requirements
- Pixel-perfect implementation of approved user interface.
- Collaborating with the rest of the team on all aspects of product development.
Requirements:
- Keen sense of design to make delightful user interfaces
- Thorough understanding of user experience and interest in latest developments in the FE development space
- Experience with database design and management, including being up-to-date on the latest best practices.
- Proficiency in front end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in versioning tools such as Git.
