About the job

About Quinncia

Quinncia is a career readiness platform that improves college student outcomes by improving students' resumes and interview skills using our AI. We allow career services teams to scale their offerings so every student receives personalized feedback on their resume and interview skills — and we do it embedded directly in the academic curriculum at 180+ partner institutions.

Here's why it matters: 60% of graduates every year are either unemployed or underemployed on graduation day. Our goal is to make sure every student has a job within 90 days of graduation. You're a college student — you already understand exactly why this matters. Now you can help fix it.

The Role

Explore the opportunity to join a quickly growing, profitable company where you can enjoy the energy and feel good about what you do. We're a game-changer in how career readiness works — and you can be too.

You'll work with our sales team to contact colleges and universities, highlight what we do, create awareness, and pitch Quinncia's value propositions. A meaningful portion of your day will be working warm inbound leads from schools already interested in our product — no high-pressure tactics here. Your job is to open doors and book qualified meetings for our Partnerships Team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and follow up on our inbound leads list — respond to information requests promptly
  • Build cold prospect lists and research the right contacts (career center directors, deans, faculty)
  • Send cold and warm outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Find decision-makers, educate potential influencers, and keep prospects informed
  • Schedule qualified meetings for the Partnerships Team
  • Move qualified leads into our sales funnel and keep the CRM (HubSpot) accurate and up to date

What Success Looks Like

Your core goal is booking qualified meetings each week. Your bonuses are established based on how many meetings you schedule — hit your weekly target and you earn the full bonus; exceed it and there's no cap.

Compensation

  • Base pay: $20/hour × 10 hours/week = $200/week
  • On-target bonus: +$100/week for hitting your weekly meeting target
  • Overachievement bonus: +$50 for every additional meeting booked beyond target — uncapped
  • On-target earnings: ~$300/week (~$1,300/month), with real upside if you outperform

Who You Are

No prior sales experience required — full training provided. What we do need:

  • Currently enrolled college student, able to work in-person in Somerville, NJ on Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Excellent written and verbal professional communication
  • A highly motivated, driven, self-starting individual with a positive attitude
  • Genuine curiosity about what universities are doing in career services
  • Strong critical thinking, time management, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable reaching out to people you've never met — by phone, email, or LinkedIn
  • Interested in accelerating your career and learning to navigate enterprise sales

Bonus points (not required): any prior sales, customer-facing, or campus job experience; familiarity with HubSpot or LinkedIn.

What This Job Is (and Isn't)

If you're looking for a ping-pong table, 401(k), or health insurance, Quinncia is not for you. This is an hourly-plus-bonus role to help college students get some real world expereince and add to their resume. What you will get: real enterprise sales training, direct exposure to a profitable ed-tech startup, uncapped bonus upside, and a genuinely great line for your resume and interviews.

We are NOT looking for contractors or consultants — please do not reach out offering those services. This position is US-based and in-person in Somerville, NJ.
