Web development intern

OCEAN is looking for highly motivated college students to join our team. As an intern, you will work on a real project (or a few) and have an opportunity to enjoy our dynamic, startup-like environment.

Responsibilities
As a Web Developer Intern you will be responsible for developing the user interface to enhance our products. This includes designing workflows for analyzing and visualizing data, and helping to build out the new OCEAN website (built on WordPress with some custom features

Requirements Minimum Qualifications

• You have experience building web applications in a class, as a personal hobby, as a job, as part of an open source project
• You have the ability to work well with others within an agile development team
• You enjoy working well with others in a fast-paced environment
• You enjoy working within an agile environment
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

*Preferred Qualifications *

• You have experience working in a commercial or open source software development team
• You have experience working with WordPress
• You have experience working with Google Analytics
• You have experience working with PHP

*Education *

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, and strong record of academic achievement
