The successful candidate will produce recommendations and deliverables in a thorough, practicable, and consistent manner congruent with the organization's objectives associated with IT infrastructure provisioning.

  • Proactively perform as an organized and dedicated change agent, core to ensuring quality assurance while assisting the culture shift toward standardized IT service deliveries
  • Apply project management aptitude and experience to support Government oversight of Desktop Engineering, without performing hands-on technical Desktop Engineering tasks
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Coordinate and oversee functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications
  • Apply a working comprehension of network architecture and an understanding of desktop backend infrastructure, including servers, storage, applications, and relevant security configurations, to inform oversight and recommendations
  • Educate consumers on current and upcoming IT service deliveries, changes, and potential impacts to existing capabilities
  • Understand relationship between the customer's delivery schedules and IT service roadmaps
  • Perform as key Technical Advisor for articulating service requirement gaps to support customer mission architecture
  • Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
  • Compose governance, craft process documents, and respond to requests for information

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and five (5) years or more of related experience; Masters and 3 or more years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting post-award contract execution and program management in a construction or facilities environment
  • Experience managing task order-based contracts and processing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in a construction context
  • Prior experience supporting data center construction, retrofit, or modernization projects a plus
