Bring your commercial construction experience to high-profile projects at DFW Airport.
Premier Interior Development, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead restaurant, retail, hospitality, premium lounge and commercial improvement projects at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Airport experience is preferred, but it is not required. We welcome accomplished commercial general contractor PMs with experience delivering restaurants, hospitality spaces, retail build-outs or complex tenant improvements.
If you can take ownership of a project, manage its financial performance, coordinate subcontractors and deliver quality work under demanding schedules, we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Premier has more than 30 years of experience delivering commercial and aviation construction projects across the United States. Our portfolio includes premium airline and credit card lounges, restaurants, concessions, retail spaces and terminal improvements.
As we expand our Dallas operations, you’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact, work directly with company leadership and build a long-term career in aviation construction.
This position works from our Dallas office with regular visits to DFW Airport projects.
What You’ll Do
- Manage projects from preconstruction and subcontractor buyout through construction, turnover and closeout.
- Own project budgets, cost forecasting, procurement and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain schedules with superintendents and subcontractors.
- Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
- Coordinate architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and specialty equipment scopes.
- Lead owner, architect and subcontractor meetings and resolve issues promptly.
- Support estimating, scope development and long-lead procurement.
- Coordinate construction activities within an active airport alongside project teams and airport stakeholders.
- Build strong client relationships through communication, accountability and successful project delivery.
Your primary responsibility is delivering successful construction projects. You’ll also support preconstruction and client relationships as Premier’s Dallas presence grows.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of commercial construction experience, including experience independently managing projects for a general contractor.
- Successful delivery of projects in one or more of the following areas:
- Restaurants and food service
- Hospitality and premium interiors
- Retail construction
- Commercial tenant improvements and renovations
- Airport terminals, concessions or lounges
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and change orders from project start through closeout.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination, construction documents and finish quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly and take responsibility for project outcomes.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and construction scheduling software.
- Ability to work from our Dallas office and regularly visit DFW Airport jobsites.
You do not need experience in every project category to qualify.
