About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Python Engineer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Python and modern Python frameworks, along with experience in frontend development, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing scalable software solutions, leading technical discussions, representing the company's technical capabilities during client meetings, and managing the technical aspects of client projects.

Experience with Agentic AI, AI-powered applications, and modern AI development architectures will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Client Engagement

1. Represent the company's technical capabilities during client discussions, discovery calls, and technical presentations.
2. Understand client requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
3. Manage and oversee technical aspects of client projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and expectations.
4. Collaborate with internal development teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality technical delivery.
5. Provide technical guidance, recommendations, and architectural insights during client engagements.

Software Architecture & Development

1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable software solutions using Python and modern Python frameworks.
2. Architect and develop applications using Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture.
3. Develop high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed applications.
4. Ensure application performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and reliability.
5. Apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, clean coding principles, and code review standards.

Frontend Development

1. Collaborate on frontend development and integration using Angular or React.
2. Develop and integrate APIs between frontend applications and Python-based backend systems.
3. Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend components.

Cloud & DevOps

1. Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure.
3. Demonstrate strong DevOps knowledge, including containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
4. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
5. Work with cloud-native services, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.

AI & Emerging Technologies

1. Explore and implement AI-powered solutions and intelligent automation within software applications.
2. Leverage modern AI technologies, LLM integrations, and AI development frameworks.
3. Design and develop Agentic AI workflows, autonomous agents, and multi-agent systems where applicable.
4. Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and business workflows.

Required Qualifications & Experience

1. 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on expertise in Python.
2. Extensive experience with Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies.
3. At least 2+ years of frontend development experience with Angular or React.
4. At least 2+ years of hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
5. Strong understanding and practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment automation.
6. Proven experience designing and implementing scalable architectures, including Microservices, SOA, and Event-Driven Architecture.
7. Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and distributed applications.
8. Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
9. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical decision-making skills.
10. Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
11. English proficiency at C1 level or higher is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on experience with Agentic AI, AI agents, multi-agent frameworks, and LLM-powered applications.
2. Experience with AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies.
3. Experience integrating OpenAI APIs or other LLM providers into production applications.
4. Previous experience in a Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer capacity.
5. Experience working with international clients and distributed development teams.
6. Experience representing technical teams during client meetings, solution discussions, and project discovery sessions.
