Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer

Role: Sr. OpenShift Platform EngineerLocation: Remote in the US, EST or CSTDuration: 12 monthsPay rate: $75 - 80/hourJob summary:This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for planning and executing those upgrades safely and repeatably, keeping the platform and add-on services on supported versions while minimizing service disruption.Key responsibilities:• Execute the Webscale 1.6 platform migration across the cluster fleet using both standard in-service upgrades and blue/green-style upgrades.• Plan, validate, and perform Kubernetes / OpenShift cluster upgrades while minimizing service disruption.• Deploy, configure, and support Kubernetes / OpenShift distributions across the fleet.• Automate upgrade and operational workflows using Bash, Ansible, and Python.Required skills:• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.• OpenShift hands-on experience; Linux system administration skills.• Automation experience with tools such as Bash, Ansible, and Python.• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting various distributions of Kubernetes or OpenShift.• Working knowledge of the Kubernetes API Server.• Knowledge of NFS and networking fundamentals.Please send resume ASAP.
