Systems Administrator

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Aurora, Colorado.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.Configure and manage Linux and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/loads operating system software, troubleshoot.Maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in technical discipline; an additional 5 years of systems administration experience might be substituted for a degree.15+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator or in related IT roles.Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud infrastructure administration, preferably AWS.Familiarity with Windows.Clearance RequirementsActive TS/SCI with Polygraph.Physical RequirementsNeeds to be able to provide hardware transferring support.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
