About the job
Cicero is building the front office for law firms. We handle client intake and build tools that help firms make decisions faster. Real customers use Cicero today, and the work now is to make the product faster, smarter, more reliable and much more powerful as we grow.
You won't inherit a narrow ticket queue or wait for perfect specs. You'll work directly with the founders, talk to users, make product decisions, design systems and ship the core product that the company is built on.
What you'll do:
- Design APIs and AI workflows for clients that scale and can be reused
- Evolve the architecture as usage grows
- Own the frontend with the engineering team
- Own big product areas from zero to one, including the interface, the API, the data and the AI behind them
Who you are:
- 2+ years of full stack experience, or a new grad with exceptional projects
- Python (ideally FastAPI) and React
- Strong PostgreSQL, plus Supabase, Redis or similar
- You've put LLMs into products people actually use, not just chat demos
- Familiar with production monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Proof that you learn fast, such as projects, papers, repos, launches or hard problems you've solved
Why Cicero: you'll work with the founders every day, get real equity, and be judged by what you build, not by politics or how your resume looks.
This role is for US citizens only; we can't sponsor visas.
