THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Neo4j, and Graph Database Technologies. In this role, you will design and develop scalable data engineering solutions, build graph-based data platforms, and support AI-driven business initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to manage complex data relationships, optimize data processing pipelines, and deliver high-performance data solutions that enable advanced analytics and intelligent decision-making.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions using Python.
• Build, enhance, and optimize graph database solutions using Neo4j.
• Design graph data models to represent complex business relationships and interconnected datasets.
• Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources while ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
• Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to support AI and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and database performance issues.
• Implement best practices for data architecture, data modeling, governance, and platform scalability.
• Support enterprise data modernization and graph-based analytics initiatives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering frameworks and processes.

WHAT YOU BRING

Must Have

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or related domains.
• Strong hands-on experience with Neo4j and graph database technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming for data engineering applications.
• Experience designing, developing, and managing scalable data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of graph data modeling, graph relationships, and query optimization.
• Experience with data integration across multiple enterprise systems and platforms.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application within data engineering environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience integrating graph databases with AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise data architecture and large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Experience working with large, complex, and highly connected datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance and enterprise data management practices.
