Automation Engineer

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on technical role focused on workflow and reporting automation. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, platform teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end to end technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business requirements.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing automation solutions in AWS environments that support enterprise applications
• Advanced programming experience with Python
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Design and implement end-to-end process automation solutions
• Experience with robotic process automation tools, preferably RPA / Blue Prism.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, API integrations, and event driven automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality, and secure software delivery and using tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices, including monitoring, observability, alerting, incident response, and reliability improvement.
• Experience with automating reporting as well as knowledge of various database technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Oracle, and Amazon Redshift.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Back-end development experience using Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of security, compliance, data governance, and operational controls used in the financial services industry.
• Experience working on enterprise applications or projects of similar scope and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated hands on experience with development, automation, and cloud services is expected.

Desired Skillset:

• AWS Developer certification is preferred.
• Experience developing AI / SI skills and agents is highly desirable

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
