Commercial Operator

DroidDepot is part of spARK Labs by ARK Invest. We're building the platform for task-specific robots — Lovable for robotics: we operate robots on customer shifts, turn that deployment evidence into simulation and training, and design and build the machines no off-the-shelf robot fits.

There is exactly one Commercial Operator seat on the founding team — and it will only ever be offered once, on these terms. This is the part-time, founding-equity window: flexible hours built around your current work, 0.5–1.0% founding equity, and a seat at the table while the company is still being shaped. Once we raise and this becomes a full-time role, that window is gone. The people who join after the raise will be employees. The person who takes this seat will be a founding team member.

You will own a robot pilot end-to-end: site assessment, the pilot statement of work and safety pack, deployment, crew training, uptime, and the weekly proof-of-work reporting that turns a pilot into a contract. Your first 90 days, one deliverable: land the first 90-Day Managed Proof and take it from site assessment to a running, measured deployment (at least 95% scheduled tasks completed, zero safety incidents, uptime and proof-of-work reporting the customer trusts); build the reusable deployment playbook as you go; stand up the operator side of our OEM and rental supply lines. Your deployment evidence feeds our design loop: what the machines can't do specifies the gap parts and custom builds.

Who you are: you've run multi-site physical operations where people, machines, and vendors had to show up and perform on a schedule — and you've put equipment or technology into live customer sites and kept it running: crews, vendors, uptime, and safety, with performance measured in numbers. You're field-technical: comfortable around machines, vendors, and crews, and you know what an operation needs at 6 a.m. when a shift doesn't show or a machine goes down. You're commercial as well as operational: you've scoped work with a customer, carried a P&L, a contract, or a client relationship where performance was measured — and you can turn what a deployment teaches you into what gets built next.

We have early strong traction.

The terms: no salary today — this seat is founding equity (0.5–1.0%), part-time until the raise. The condition is commitment and delivery, not a fixed hour count.
