Data Analyst II

About the role:The Data Analyst will build scalable reports, visualizations, and models to uncover insights and drive business decisions. This role will help identify and resolve issues with existing reports and discover future solutions utilizing industry-leading technologies. Additionally, this role will collaborate on large-scale operational questions with an analytical mindset to help the business make informed decisions.What’s in it for you:Competitive compensation and performance-based rewards Opportunity to work with industry-leading data and analytics tools Collaborative team environment with strong mentorship and career growth opportunitiesHybrid work environment with the ability to work remotely 40 hours per monthWhat you’ll be doing:Conduct exploratory data analysis using summary statistics and time series analysis to identify trends and patterns in historical dataApply hypothesis testing and correlation analysis to uncover the causes of observed trends and relationships between key metricsDevelop and refine predictive models using machine learning algorithms and regression techniques such as multiple linear regression to forecast future outcomesLeverage your understanding of the business requirements to make well informed decisions and consult on data needs as they arise from business partnersTrain other Junior analysts in their daily job functions to grow their technical proficiencyDevelop and maintain data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-makingCreate and maintain scalable reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools to present data insights to stakeholdersTake ownership of reporting projects from inception to completion by providing follow-up communication and deliverables until requirements are metWorking on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of documentationWork within the Jira suite of tools including Jira Service Desk, Jira for Software Applications, and Jira ConfluenceWhat you need:Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)2+ years of experience using SQL in a relational database environment2+ years of experience building dashboards and reports in Power BIExperience with data modeling concepts (e.g., star and snowflake schemas)Working knowledge of core analytics and database conceptsExposure to statistical or analytical techniques such as regression, clustering, or hypothesis testingExperience using programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python or R) is a plusFamiliarity with cloud or modern data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, AWS) is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamWhere you’ll be: 4289 Ivy Pointe Blvd., Cincinnati, OH 45245Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.
