About Existence
Existence is a Time Intelligence platform on a mission to help people turn time into transformation. Built on the philosophy that quality of time equals quality of life, we help people account for every dimension of their time, uncover patterns in their energy and habits, and turn that data into insights that drive real change. Our cross-platform app tracks not just where time goes, but how it feels: activities, reflections, and quality ratings that reveal what drives happiness, energy, and growth.
The Role
We're looking for a Web Designer and Developer to join our marketing team and own the design, build, and publishing of our websites and landing pages. You'll shape how people first experience Existence online, from the main site to campaign pages for new launches.
This is a design-first role. You care about typography, layout, and detail, and you're comfortable building and publishing what you design. Our sites are built on Webflow, so hands-on Webflow experience is required. Experience with other platforms like Framer, WordPress, or Shopify is also welcome.
You'll work closely with our growth, brand and engineering teams in a fast-moving environment. We ship, test, and iterate quickly, and AI is a core part of how we work. You’ll use the latest AI tools every day to design, build, and test faster. Above all, you’ll build pages that convert.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Build
- Design and launch web pages and campaign landing pages, from concept in Figma to live on the site
- Design and build campaign and lifecycle landing pages, partnering with the lifecycle and email teams so each page matches its campaign (launches, re-engagement, lead magnets, and more)
- Maintain a consistent, polished, on-brand experience across all web properties
- Apply brand guidelines on the web and help extend them where needed
- Build and maintain a library of reusable sections and templates
- Ensure all pages are responsive and perform well across devices
- Ship fast and iterate: launch quickly, learn from data and test results, and keep improving pages over time
Website Ownership
- Own the day-to-day management of our websites: structure, navigation, and publishing
- Maintain site performance, accessibility, and SEO and GEO best practices
- Partner with growth marketing to plan, build, and run A/B tests in VWO on headlines, layouts, and page flows and report on results
- Apply conversion optimization best practices to every page: clear hierarchy and CTAs, message match with campaigns, social proof, form design, and page speed
Collaboration & Measurement
- Partner with engineering on analytics, tracking, and the hand-off from the website into the app
- Implement small pieces of custom code where needed
- Communicate timelines and status to marketing and brand stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Design
- 5+ years of web design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped marketing sites
- Excellent typography, layout, and visual craft
- Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into clear, relatable design that anyone can understand
- Proficiency in Figma
- Hands-on experience building and publishing sites in Webflow
- Strong knowledge of conversion-optimized site and landing page best practices, with examples of pages you’ve improved
Technical
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with SEO, GEO, page performance, and web accessibility fundamentals
Working Style
- Thrives on fast iteration: ships quickly, learns from results, and refines without sacrificing quality
- Uses AI tools daily as a core part of your workflow for design, imagery, copy variations, and code (required)
- Self-directed, with strong communication skills across marketing, brand, and engineering
- Takes ownership of the work from brief to launch
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VWO or similar A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, AB Tasty)
- Experience with other site builders or CMSs (e.g., Framer, WordPress, Shopify)
- Motion and animation (GSAP, Lottie, or Webflow Interactions)
- Experience with HubSpot forms and marketing automation
- Agency or in-house marketing design experience
- Strong sense for copy and messaging
- Open to Contract-to-Hire
What We Offer
- Ownership of how people first discover and experience Existence online
- A small, collaborative team that values craft and moves quickly
- Remote-friendly work environment
- Solid benefits for a startup (health insurance, non-matching 401K, 3 weeks PTO + time off during the holidays)
