About the job
Job description:
Girl Power Talk is looking for an Executive Assistant for a high-net-worth female entrepreneur who oversees multiple affiliated businesses, investments, and emerging ventures. She is also a lawyer, and among her ventures is her role as an investor and partner for Legal Experts AI.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, resourceful professional who wants to work directly with a business owner, take meaningful responsibility, and contribute to how their ventures operate and grow.
You will work directly alongside the executive and her global leadership team, becoming deeply involved in day-to-day operations, business expansion, research, technology, and the execution of priorities across several affiliated businesses. The role calls for someone who can bring structure to complexity, anticipate what’’s next, and take ownership of responsibilities.
A background in law, paralegal work, or legal operations would be particularly valuable, as would experience coordinating business operations, an understanding of marketing and sales funnels, and using AI tools to improve how work gets done. The ideal candidate is practical, organized, curious, and comfortable moving between different types of responsibilities as business needs evolve.
The position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Candidates currently based elsewhere who are willing to relocate are encouraged to apply. An initial on-site training period of approximately one month is required, during which you will work closely with the executive. Hybrid or remote flexibility may be considered afterward, depending on performance, responsibilities, and business needs.
What You'll Actually Do
Your responsibilities will span:
- Working directly with the executive across multiple businesses, investments, and special projects.
- Researching markets, companies, industries, people, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Researching legal, regulatory, licensing, market, company, industry, and business expansion requirements, particularly as the organization enters new states and jurisdictions.
- Coordinating operational activities across affiliated businesses, maintaining clear records, tracking follow-ups, and ensuring commitments are not lost in the day-to-day workload.
- Using Claude and other advanced AI platforms extensively for research, analysis, writing, ideation, and workflow improvement.
- Continuously evaluating new AI tools and identifying practical ways to incorporate them into the business.
- Identifying repetitive tasks, manual data entry, technology gaps, and process inefficiencies, then helping document and coordinate solutions with the internal technology and AI team.
- Staying current on technology, AI, business, marketing, and relevant market trends.
- Helping organize priorities, meetings, projects, communications, follow-ups, and executive workflows.
- Preparing briefs, presentations, research, correspondence, and decision-support materials.
- Participating in business development and evaluating potential partnerships and opportunities.
- Supporting marketing, digital strategy, social media, and executive positioning.
- Coordinating with employees, attorneys, advisors, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Helping recruit, evaluate, and eventually manage additional team members.
- Taking ambiguous ideas and turning them into organized, executable projects.
- Identifying problems before they need to be pointed out and taking responsibility for solving them.
- There will be administrative responsibilities, particularly as you learn how the executive and businesses operate. Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through are essential. But this is not intended to be a purely administrative position. As you demonstrate capability and earn trust, you will have opportunities to take greater ownership of projects, improve processes, coordinate initiatives, and assume broader operational responsibilities.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with enough professional experience and maturity to work directly with the executive, exercise sound judgment, and manage responsibilities independently, while remaining open to feedback and willing to learn.
A background in law, paralegal work, or legal operations is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in insurance defense, regulatory research, compliance, or legal administration would be particularly valuable. We are also interested in candidates who have worked in business operations, executive support, administration, or related roles and can demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
Above all, you need to be hungry for this opportunity and bring a genuine entrepreneurial mindset, someone who wants to build, own, and grow rather than simply execute tasks.
You should also have:
- Strong organizational and executive-functioning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow through consistently.
- A practical, operational mindset and a willingness to get into the details, solve problems, and make processes work better.
- The ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and learn directly from the executive without needing constant supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to research unfamiliar topics and communicate findings clearly.
- Familiarity with legal processes, regulatory requirements, licensing, or legal administration, with a law degree, paralegal experience, or relevant legal operations background being a significant advantage.
- An understanding of business operations, marketing, and sales funnels, without needing to be primarily sales-oriented.
- Advanced familiarity with Claude, along with an active interest in Gemini, ChatGPT, and the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing follow-through.
- Discretion when working with confidential business and personal information.
- The confidence to ask questions when necessary and the initiative to proceed independently when they are not.
- A willingness to learn outside your existing area of expertise.
This Role Is Probably Not for You If...
If you are looking for a position where someone gives you a detailed list of what to do, how to do it, and when to do it.
If you prefer to work exclusively within a narrow set of responsibilities, avoid unfamiliar challenges, or need frequent reminders to complete tasks, this is unlikely to be the right environment.
If you are uncomfortable with unfamiliar systems, processes, and problems that require research, initiative, and sound judgment.
Where This Can Lead:
The first 6–10 months will primarily be about learning: understanding the executive, the businesses, the people involved, the operational requirements, and the decision-making process. You will build trust through consistent execution, sound judgment, and the ability to make the executive's work and the businesses' operations more effective.
Thereafter, the trajectory can expand considerably. Depending on performance and business needs, you may have opportunities to take ownership of operational functions, coordinate technology and automation initiatives, hire and manage additional team members, represent the organization externally, participate in business expansion, and take on increasingly strategic responsibilities.
For an exceptional individual, the role can evolve beyond executive support into broader business operations and leadership. Participation in future ventures, including potential equity opportunities, may also become possible. Such opportunities are not guaranteed and would depend on performance, contribution, and the specific venture.
The intention is to find someone who can grow with the organization while making a meaningful contribution from the beginning.
Travel is not expected during the first 6–10 months. Thereafter, occasional or approximately monthly domestic travel may be required.
Compensation & Confidentiality:
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will reflect the candidate's experience, capabilities, and fit for the position. This search is being conducted on behalf of a client who is a high-net-worth female entrepreneur with multiple affiliated businesses and investments. Because of the confidential nature of the search, the identity of the executive and affiliated companies will be shared with qualified candidates as the interview process progresses.
For transparency, feel free to Google "Blue Ocean Global Technology" and "Girl Power Talk" to learn more about us, even as the client's details remain confidential at this stage.
How to Apply:
Please submit your résumé along with a short response to the following:
Tell us about something you built, solved, organized, improved, or took ownership of when nobody gave you a playbook. What was the situation, what did you personally do, and what happened as a result?
We are far more interested in how you approached the problem than in how impressive the project sounds.
Selected candidates will be asked to complete the Girl Power Talk questionnaire before moving forward in the process.
