About the job

WHAT’S BREWING IN THIS ROLE...

The Senior Integration Developer owns the design, development, reliability, and ongoing operation of integrations across the company’s application landscape. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is the primary integration platform, with NetSuite among several connected systems.

This role combines hands-on engineering with production ownership. The Senior Integration Developer builds new integrations, stabilizes and modernizes existing interfaces, and establishes dependable monitoring and support practices. They ensure production integrations are documented, maintainable, secure, and ready to operate. The role partners with application owners, business stakeholders, and external specialists to deliver durable solutions and reduce routine reliance on integration partners.

THE FLAVOR YOU ADD...

Integration Design and Delivery

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud and related technologies.

• Translate business and system requirements into reliable integration designs, interfaces, mappings, and error-handling patterns.

• Develop APIs, orchestrations, transformations, scheduled processes, and event-driven integrations.

• Apply sound practices for authentication, batching, idempotency, observability, data quality, and recovery.

• Evaluate proposed initiatives for integration feasibility, effort, dependencies, data impacts, security, and operational risk.

Production Reliability and Support

• Own production monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, error handling, reprocessing, and incident response across the integration estate.

• Troubleshoot integration issues through log analysis and root-cause investigation, then implement durable corrective actions.

• Maintain and modernize interfaces inherited from external partners, improving their stability, documentation, and supportability.

• Define and enforce production-readiness standards for integrations before go-live.

• Partner with application owners and business stakeholders to diagnose issues and deliver lasting solutions.

Platform, Security, and Release Practices

• Manage integration connections, credentials, certificates, environments, deployment pipelines, and promotion paths under IT change control.

• Work within structured testing, change-control, and release-management practices.

• Review partner-built and AI-assisted code for quality, security, maintainability, and operational supportability.

• Maintain technical documentation, data mappings, support procedures, and operational wikis.

Partner and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Coordinate specialist integration partners when external capacity or expertise is needed.

• Work with application administrators, business system owners, data and security stakeholders, and project leads to align integration solutions with business needs.

• Support knowledge transfer that builds internal understanding and reduces routine dependence on external partner staff.

FIRST-YEAR PRIORITIES...

• Transition defined integration scope from external partners and establish accountable internal ownership.

• Inventory and document every production integration, including interfaces, dependencies, credentials, monitoring, and support procedures.

• Implement consistent monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and recovery practices across the integration estate.

• Stabilize high-risk or poorly documented interfaces and reduce routine dependence on partner staff.

• Establish clear architecture, development, review, deployment, and production-readiness standards.

• Reduce external integration spend while maintaining reliability, delivery quality, and support coverage.

MUST-HAVE INGREDIENTS...

• 7+ years of experience building and operating enterprise integrations in production.

• Deep hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, including adapters, orchestration, mapping, error handling, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Strong API and data-integration fundamentals, including REST, SOAP, authentication, transformation, batching, idempotency, reconciliation, and secure credential handling.

• Demonstrated ownership of production reliability and support, in addition to project delivery.

• Experience taking over third-party-built integrations, documenting them, and stabilizing their operation.

• Proficiency in integration troubleshooting, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution.

• Experience working within structured change-control, testing, and release-management practices.

• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS...

• NetSuite integration experience, including SuiteTalk, REST web services, and SuiteScript-based endpoints.

• Experience in multi-subsidiary ERP environments or with supply chain, distribution, franchise, or financial data flows.

• Experience in an audited environment with formal access controls and separate development, test, and production environments.

• Familiarity with Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or another integration platform.

• Experience reducing reliance on external integration partners through structured knowledge transfer.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, source control, automated testing, and infrastructure or configuration management practices.
