Job Title: Technical Co-Founder & CTO (Fintech, Compliance & Creator Infrastructure)

Compensation: Founder draw / salary activated at $20k AUD MRR or closing our $200k+ outside round

SpiceVault is building the dedicated financial, compliance, and collaboration operating system for the $50B+ creator economy and adult talent management agencies.
High-volume creators and agencies currently lose 4% to 8% of their gross revenue to predatory offshore e-wallets, spend dozens of hours chasing manual 18 U.S.C. § 2257 paper releases, and lack stalker-proof tools to organize shoots.
SpiceVault replaces this broken setup with:
Direct-to-Bank Treasury (Flat 2.5%): Automated API revenue sweeps from live cam networks (Chaturbate, Stripchat, Cam4, Fansly) straight into local bank accounts (NPP/Osko in AU, ACH in US), cutting out predatory middlemen and automating 20% agency commission splits.
Automated 18 U.S.C. § 2257 Custodian Vault: Biometric liveness verification that cryptographically binds government IDs, performer consent, and digital media hashes for 1-click federal audit packages.
Stalker-Proof "Swipe to Collab": PostGIS travel itinerary matching, postcode/city teleport, and a strict 5km privacy scatter mesh ("Ninja Mode") that stops stalkers and cold DMs.
Creator Studio: In-app production suite with Spotify audio stem sync and a swipe-down clean canvas for live streaming.
Where We Are Today (No Blank Whiteboards)
You are not stepping into an abstract idea. The foundation has been built with extreme velocity:
Architecture & MVP: Full system architected and code-complete (PostgreSQL double-entry ledger, PostGIS spatio-temporal indices, AWS KMS encryption pipeline, WebRTC signaling mesh). Audited at ~$450k AUD replacement value.
Commercial Pilot: Commencing our private Sydney pilot with 10 founding VIP creators and 2 commercial talent management agencies managing multi-creator rosters.
Capitalization: Raising on a $3M AUD pre-seed SAFE cap, positioning for an $8M AUD post-beta valuation based on live Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
The Role
As Technical Co-Founder & CTO, you will partner directly with the CEO and take 100% ownership of engineering, infrastructure, and technical execution.
The CEO handles commercial distribution, agency onboarding, regulatory legal defense, marketing, and investor relations—freeing you up to build and scale world-class software without distractions.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the technical roadmap, codebase, and cloud deployment pipelines (AWS KMS, PostgreSQL/Supabase, Redis, Docker/Terraform).
Harden our 2.5% automated direct-to-bank treasury settlement engine (domestic clearing rails, Stripe Connect custom architectures, and USDC instant off-ramps).
Maintain enterprise security protocols, zero-knowledge media encryption sandboxes, and automated biometric compliance vaults.
Lead engineering hiring and build the core technical team as we scale post-beta.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Breadth: Strong background in full-stack or backend engineering (TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Redis, React / React Native, WebRTC).
High-Trust Systems: Experience or strong intuition for fintech plumbing (double-entry ledgers, payout rails) and secure data/media pipelines.
Founder Mentality: Pragmatic, self-directed, and execution-focused. You care about shipping bulletproof code that creates real enterprise value.
Open-Minded: Comfortable building in the high-margin, highly underserved adult tech and creator economy space with an emphasis on performer safety and legal compliance.
