Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support scalable digital products for inflight operations and frontline employees. The role requires strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks, backend services, cloud technologies, APIs, and DevSecOps practices. The developer will own features end-to-end, improve application reliability, and contribute to mobile experiences, enterprise integrations, and AI-powered capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and services.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Design cloud-native solutions using AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Develop mobile and tablet experiences optimized for frontline employees and operational environments.
• Implement resilient, offline-first capabilities, data synchronization, and intermittent network support.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and secure deployment processes.
• Apply software architecture principles to improve scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Integrate application telemetry, product analytics, and AI-powered capabilities into digital products.
• Troubleshoot production issues, monitor application performance, and support incident resolution.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in architecture discussions, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions.

Must Have

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial hands-on full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or React Native.
• Backend development experience using Node.js, Java, Python, or comparable enterprise technologies.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and distributed services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design principles.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across product, UX, architecture, engineering, and business teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing enterprise mobile applications using React Native, iOS/Swift, or similar technologies.
• Experience in airline, travel, transportation, or frontline operational technology environments.
• AWS certification or equivalent cloud expertise.
• Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of application telemetry, product analytics, and user behavior tracking.
• Experience integrating generative AI, LLM APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or enterprise AI services.
• Experience implementing offline-first application architectures and data synchronization.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive digital design.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or AWS Bedrock.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 Annually -Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
